The Declaration of Independence says all men are created equal, and that we are endowed by our Creator with inalienable rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. The rights are inalienable because they are God-given rights. No one can take them away.
The US Constitution expresses these rights. All share responsibility to preserve them. Our founders advised that eternal vigilance is the price of Liberty. Liberty can be lost in ONE GENERATION.
